Even though Ashley isn't talking too much about her parents, she has acknowledged her grandfather for the genesis of her love for working out, as his bodybuilder career was very popular throughout his 20s and 30s. Ashley was active physically from the age of four. She began taking swimming lessons at four years old and continued to do so for another 10 years. Being the only one who didn't adhere to eating a strict diet, meant she didn't enter many of the competitions.
